Gaarde Christian School encourages and welcomes all parental involvement in the classroom and school wide. There are always on-going projects to improve GCS from IT to facilities and other areas. Other ways to get involved
Classroom
Each classroom has field trips, class parties, and class serving events. Please be in communication with your student's teacher(s) on how you can get involved in the classroom.
School Wide
Each year GCS has school wide serving projects from collecting food for the Oregon Food Bank to setting up for the Christmas production.
Yearly volunteers are needed for:
- Walk-A-Thon
- Book Fair
- Teacher Appreciation Week
- Carnival
- Field Day
Our parent volunteer policy requires any adult who wishes to volunteer at Gaarde Christian School to have a background check that is processed through Pinnacle Investigations. Pinnacle is the company Faith Journey Church uses for all employee and volunteer background checks in accordance with our liability insurance policy.
